Hero with Android's default theme

Hi folks,

Is it possible for the HTC Hero to have it's software / firmware along with Android's default theme (Like the G1).

Here's an example of what i mean. (I.e. the white bar, the cute icons, the orange colors (instead of green))

I tried a couple of google searches but only came across some sites adoring the black theme that is shipped with the Hero and some custom themes.

You can do that, by installing Home Switcher and making this as your default Home App !

I found 2 sets in 'Home Switcher' called 'TouchFlo' and 'Startpagina' (Startpage in english).

Switching to 'Startpagina' gave me the grey tab, an empty home screen and only 3 desktops (instead of 7).

The black theme shipped with the hero was still there so it didn't actually switched to the original android theme.

Is there a way to get the theme / layout like the G1 without losing functionalities and the widgets of HTC?
