Guest Omnia-Winker Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Can you change the background to black? from what I remember its a html page or xml, so I guess you could....
Guest limit77 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) I went into the setting menu and chose iphone skin,.. and there is no difference compared to the original skin. Weird. Great APP though..really like it! Edited September 16, 2009 by limit77
Guest necosino Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I remember having some issues when I tried this a while ago, it may have been an older version though. It made texting really, really slow; it would take minutes to open messaging. I'll give it a shot later, hopefully that was fixed :)
Guest limit77 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Anyone finding a bug with threading? When I receive a text from someone I already have texted in my inbox, it comes in as a new text....only....it's on top of the one already there. Try this. Text a friend. Do not delete the conversation. Have them text you back. Open it, read..close it. Now delete it. Is your original text conversation still there?

I like the new way the options are displayed with it when you click the name of the sms sender.... but i really don't like the fact that you can't use kinetic scrolling at all in the msg's (it just defaults to a text selection mode).
Guest Zealster Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 ugh! Kinetic scrolling in texts was why I flashed to 6.5...
Guest macoolit Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 hmmmm gonna try this one later, im gonna replace my sms-chat proggy.
Guest Shirian Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Hi, I am new to this and I have an Omnia I900. I did download and install this app. However, is there a way to set up an Icon or Button to go directly to SMS without having to go to my contacts then choosing Send SMS, etc.? Thank you for your help as I do appreciate it.

You can map a hardware button to you messages by going to Settings -> Personal -> Buttons and changing the options there. Otherwise, depending on which UI you're using, you might be able to create a shortcut to your messages (I know that SPB mobile shell, PointUI, WAD 2 and even Titanium can do this).
