Guest bhuether Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 THis must sound like a stupid question... I am new to smartphones and I have the ICSInstall.CAB file that lots of people on here use to get ICS working on the Omnia. As far as I can tell the file is simply a compressed file containing seceral ICS files. So seems in order to 'install' I have to know where to extract the files to. Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks, brian
Guest Silic0nJ3sus Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) Transfer the file over to your phone (i usually stick stuff in my Storage Card). Browse to the .cab on your phone, and click on it. That's all. With Windows Mobile, think of .cab files as installers. Edited September 16, 2009 by Silic0nJ3sus
