Omnia i910 Internt Sharing Problems... please help

I am trying to make a USB connection to my PC so the PC can get on the internet via the Omnia's connection.

I just installed ICSInstall.cab. It said it installed ok but that there might be a problem since the app was developed for a previous version of Windows Mobile (my phone has 6.1). I haven't read about this being a problem. Is there another ICSInstall that should be used with 6.1?

Anyway, I went into the phone's data connection settings and selected USB as modem. THen I launched IntShrUI and pressed connect. It very quickly says "cannot connect for unkown reason"

Any ideas? Do I need to have Verizon Access Manager installed on the PC first? I was under the impression that was not needed.

The phone can get on the internet fine.
