WMwifirouter - stopped working...

I had it working great on the stock ROM. THen I updated to a 6.5 ROM and it still worked. THen I reverted back to the stock ROM for other reasons and now it doesn't work. I mean, according to the phone it works fine - shows the wifi connection.

On the PC, it conencts to the wifi but when I open a browser it never makes a conenction. So something is messed up with DHCP or DNS or something.

Any ideas? I have found threads talking about similar problems but I have yet to come across something that has fixed this.

I have most things set to default, but for the wifi adapter on the phone I have it set to conenct to internet vs connect to work. I also have wi turned on on the phone, though I think it will work either way since back when I had it working, I did not turn wifi on on the phone.

I am thinking perhaps the solution has to do with me configuring the phone as a static gateway or whatever and pointing the PC to it under TCP/IP settings for the wireless card... Just not sure how to go through all that... And really want to avoid it! I just want to get thigns working smoothly again...
