Guest QuantumZero Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 The Verizon i910 has a clean ESN/MEID. I want to use it in Canada now. Any network will do preferably Bell Mobility since I get everything unlimited for free besides the handset. I want to stick with my Omnia. I have another device Sprint Touch Pro. Let me know if I can do the same with that. Both CDMA. I have another Samsung U740 which is with bell mobility and working perfectly wonder if i can do anything with that. I really want to get this handset working in Canada and I don't want to get a new one.

CDMA phones can not be unlocked and used on other carriers. There were posters here saying that it can be done, but I have never seen a proof of that... :)
Guest QuantumZero Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 (edited) Well if you look on ebay and many other websites they claim to be able to change the network easily. My phones have clean ESN and whenever i call telus or bell mobility they say they can't find my MEID/ESN on their system. I must find a local unlocker who can do this for me as I see on eBay they are offering services to do so. See yourself http://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-Omnia-i910-Bla...id=p3286.c0.m14 Edited September 18, 2009 by QuantumZero
Guest ilyukha Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 If its true... great. I have seen theses before as I mentioned, but general consensus that CDMA flashing can not be done. Please let us know if you will be able to flash.
Guest QuantumZero Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Yes I am able to do it. After a lot of googling and searching around I learnt about CDMA workshop and NV Editor. Both these tools can be used to change the ESN. Because usually i call bell or telus and they say the ESN does not exist odd..
Guest sumatrix Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 does anyone actually know how to change meid on omnia??
