Guest mmusaji Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 I've already updated my phone and quickly found out why people are using Apps2SD! I dont have much space left on my phone and my 2GB card is pretty empty. My question is, if I remove the card and format it, I would lose what is on there such as the nandroid backup and pics etc. Would I lose the recovery programme too? Can I copy everything as is on to my computer, do the partition and put it all back on the FAT32 partition? Would this enable me to keep my phone as is without losing any information or apps? Also, am I correct in understanding my apps that i have installed already will be moved on start up to the new partition? Thanks in advance for your help.
Guest Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 You can format your card after update. Backup anything stored on there that you don't want to lose, put it back on the card if you want (or leave it on your computer). On restart your apps will be moved.
