Guest Traxgen Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 Hi guys. I've been using the MoDaCo ROM version 2.0 core fine up until recently, where my phone can no longer receive any SMSes or make any phone calls (i.e. any call will end straight after it was started). I had the same problem once when i was on the version 1.4, but the problem was solved when i updated the radio to the latest one (63.18.55.06EU_6.35.06.18). Everything was going smoothly even when i flashed version 2.0 core, but then it stopped functioning again when i restarted the phone. Tried reflashing both radio and ROM countless times. Did a complete wipe + radio install + 2.2c (in that order) and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated! :)

That way you check whether it's a network or SIM card problem, or whether it's definitely your Hero that's causing it.

The solution was very simple. Some didn't insert the sim-card in the correct way. If you insert the sim-card, be sure that you slide up the little metal holder till its tight.

Guest junster Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I'm having the same issue now. Previously, the phone occasionally disconnects from my mobile network, and by turning airplane mode on and off i can rectify it. After updating to the HTC Generic 2.73.751.4 (as 2.73.405.5 + Chinese support), with the 63.18.55.06EU_6.35.06.18 radio, the phone worked flawlessly. However the problem started tonight where my signal shows full bars but i cant send messages or make calls. It just disconnects right after i try calling someone. Also, it occasionally says "No Service". I'm in malaysia btw, could it be that the radio isnt suitable for asian mobile networks?
Guest d4ryle Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 I'm having the same issue looks like it started happening yesterday, missed a couple of important calls. I've tried various different combonations of radio+rom but no luck. Tried reverting to the nandroid backup again no luck. The strange part is I'm able to use the data connection, browse the net, retrieve my email. Just unable to receive or make calls/texts. Any help would be apprieciated. :) Now downloading the just released T-Mobile software *crossing fingers*.
