How easy is it to Modify Skins such as those on Smartphony?

Thanks mate - I'll have a look.

I got hold of the HAL9000 skin, but the highlighted text for the appointments section is cut off at about half way - ie the bottom half of the text is missing.

I might be able to fix this - maybe...

Happens in the symbios skin for MMS too, is down to XML.

Well...

I downloaded a 30 day eval copy of XML Spy and looky here...I can change my font sizes, the positioning of plug-ins etc.

Using this and paint shop pro, I think I'm gonna have some fun here.

I use Peter's xml editor from download.com, its fairly basic but does the job quite nicely, and is perfectly adequate for homesceen customisations

Is Peters XML easier to use? I just ask because there seems to be a lot to XML Spy.

Download it and try....

It's only like 2.5meg, you get a dir tree on one side and an overview/source/preview of the code on the other. Edit, save and then copy to your phone.

i just use notepad but maybe that is where im going wrong ;)

corel draw 10 is brilliant for editing the Jpg's tho :roll:
