Guest StarVision Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) I juz found out that when my screen is totally black , i can find a white spot there...i juz checked with Samsung , and they say they can change the screen for me ...it looks like there had been many such cases in Singapore already... don't know if anyone got the same problem like mine??? However, i gotta change it back to WM6.1...and my com juz cannot recognise WM6.5 under ActiveSync, so i used a ROM from Modaco , and i need to change the software version , so that i can download to the offical rom , how can i change it in registry? itz urgent! I think its a pretty common problem, comes from pressing the LCD screen too hard I believe (though they mustn't have much resistance in it as a lot of people seem to get it). As for flashing, I'm not really sure I understand what you mean. Hopefully someone else can help :)
Guest brandogg Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Just flash the CC06 ROM using the Samsung UMDL method, not the Verizon .exe way. Turn the phone off, load the s/w, click detect, plug in the phone and turn it on. ActiveSync should never come into play, the UMDL software will recognize the phone before Windows ever does.
