Email from my university email

Hi guys,

i couldnt find anything that directly related to my problem

i want to get email on my omnia, and i have tried setting it up, but when it goes to search for my @students.unisa.edu.au - it cannot find it...and its the only email i use?

anything i can do to fix this?

Well when I go to http://unisa.edu.au/ and click the "Email" link, it opens Outlook Web Access. I assume the student email is based on Exchange? This is great. You can get real-time synchronization of your email, contacts, calendar, and tasks.

On your Omnia, go to Programs > ActiveSync

Select Menu > Add Server Source

For the server address, enter: mail.unisa.edu.au

Then continue through the setup screens, and you should have it all set.

I've never been able to get the search function to work. Get the pop and smtp server names and enter them manually. If it is exchange and your plan allows it, that will be the better solution.

My university email uses MS Exchange as well. All I did to set it up on my phone was open 'Messaging' select 'Setup E-mail' then enter my full email address and my password then selected 'Next'. It was that simple. All of my emails, calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes automatically sync between my phone and my MS Outlook progam on my desktop at work without me having to do anything. This is one the major reasons why I have a WM phone.
