problems copying files to the internal 16gb memory

i have been trying to copy some files on the omnia internal 16gb memory and everytime i do this via the win mo device center, it takes for ever, like to transfer only 3 gb it says it takes 4.5 hours :) :) left for half and hour and still says 4 hrs and some min left :) :) ;)

tried doing that by placing it as storage media, it starts and a sec later it freezes (explorer stops responding and have to restart explorer.exe) :(

its really getting on my nerves.. it there a way to increase this transfer rate of data or is there any other way to transfer data faster?

i am running vista on my pc and DZIA5 on the omnia...
