Flash and rom advice please

Hi everyone, i have an i900 uk vodafone ACHJ2 branded omnia and would like like to flash to the best official unbranded ROM so i can get away from the VODAFONE rubbish.

After much reading and searching im still unsure and nervous on exactly how to do this and which ROM i should use (DXID1) ????

Can someone point me in the right direction as to a guide on how to perform a flash safely and which rom i shoul use, any help would be much appreciated.
