Guest whiplash000 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 So I'm using all of the above at the same time and when I turn the screen off, if I'm lucky, the music I have will keep playing. 95% of the time, however, the music just stops for about 2 seconds, plays another second, and then stops another 2 seconds. If I'm REALLY unlucky, the music will just do the above then stop dead. If I unlock my phone and hit play, the music will stutter and make strange noises until I restart my phone. This happens every time a song changes, or when I turn off the screen. I'd love it if some rom cookers could help me look into this problem, since this combo is in my opinion the best way to listen to music on my Omnia, at least until Android comes out.
Guest brandogg Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Do you have other stuff running? Kinoma would always hiccup for me when the screen was off, especially on higher-bitrate MP3s (or if you're listening to any kind of online stream), and on any ROM version. I've noticed it runs smoother on WM6.5, however. It has to do with your power settings, I believe. If you're only listening to MP3s, I would *highly* recommend S2P instead of Kinoma.
Guest whiplash000 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 I had just downloaded the newest version of s2p a day or two ago and it was ridiculously buggy. It's amazing how this phone can't do something as simple as playing music with hardware as advanced as it has... boggles my mind...
Guest brandogg Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 I'm using S2P right now...I don't notice any bugs at all. It doesn't support landscape mode right now, but that's intentional. I've really never had any problems with Touch Player either.
