Guest cheapskate2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Seems wierd to me but lots of people seem to be using media encoder 9, some with success some without. I cant get any audio using it, are there any great tips so that I can get it sorted!? Cheers Chris
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 This is a grey area, the old version of version 9 did not work the best version to start you off is version 7 Look in http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic...=asc&highlight= Post will now be moved to cutomisation section.
Guest MisterCurly Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 I use wme 9 and the audio and video work perfectly on my phone, i tried to use 7 but it wouldnt work i got a messege saying did not have the proper codecs could it be because i have wmplayer 9?
Guest someone Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Yes, that removes all old codecs (including codecs for wme version 7) from your computer, thats why wme 7 doesn't work correctly.
Guest MisterCurly Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 But why does the phone guide say that it can only play windows media audio 8 when 9 works too!
Guest fozzie Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 But why does the phone guide say that it can only play windows media audio 8 when 9 works too! Probably because wma 9 wasn't released when the phone guide was produced :)
Guest bobroberts Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 use audio codec 9 and video codec 7 cancel the wizard, go to properties and choose edit set CBR on both and have a play or look at the post on encoder settings
