Guest dindilaila Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 I just bought a i900, apparently from China. When I remove the back of the phone, the inside looks different from any pictures I've seen on the web. The microSD card appears to already be inserted in a slot covered by a thin sheet of steel located between the side of the phone and the SIM card slot. There is no room for the microSD card to come out and the housing doesn't appera to rotate or move in any way. Could anyone help please. Thanks

Thanks might your phone come with a microsd card in it ? :) if you want to replace sd-card in the phone with a another one ; first you must get off the cell. After that you will be able to replace your sdcard
Guest illusion786 Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Are you sure its an omnia? Can you take a picture of the back?
Guest dindilaila Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Are you sure its an omnia? Can you take a picture of the back? Thank you all for your replies. Obviously, it is not as simple as you may think, otherwise I wouldn't have to ask in this forum. I think it will be best if I post a picture so that you see the problem

Guest La Traviata Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) Is it perhaps dual SIM? http://www.myeglobal.com/productdetail-146...-Black-Cel.html Not sure if this is legit, but it does say "Omnia i900" in the description. Edited September 23, 2009 by La Traviata
Guest aznsniper Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 as long as the pins on ur micro sd is facing downwards it will go in properly. There's two tabs on the memory card slotthat stick out over the slow so you need to insert it it and slide the micros sd under the tab as it holds the microsd there
Guest dindilaila Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Dont think its an omnia, either that or its a fake? Pic would help ... should look like this.... GG It is a dual SIM phone and it's an omnia i900, but the back in the inside doesn't look like this picture. I don't have it with me but I'll take a picture tonight and upload it. The slot for the mSD card is in the upper left corner, next to the camera lens, sort off where the cut corner of the label is located in this picture

They might have sold it as one but it is not a Samsung Omnia. Edited September 23, 2009 by D-OCHO
Guest kingneptune Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Congratulations on purchasing a fake 123 dollar phone.
Guest aznsniper Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 umm............that is a picture of a omnia and not a dual sim
Guest AlecR Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 umm............that is a picture of a omnia and not a dual sim Yes, but that picture is by a different poster - it is not the person who has the problem, he just posted it to show the originator what theirs should look like!

Thanks everyone. I finally figured out.......................by taking my glasses off. The microSD housing has a little metal bump that looks like solder material to fix the housing. It turns out that when you push on it the whole housing pops up and then you can insert the card

It sounds interesting as it might be different than ours. Thanks, Ron...
