Guest Alex (nedge2k) Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Further to Paul's post outlining what exactly "Pink" is, Gizmodo have scored some pics! Feast your eyes.... These phones are going to be made by Sharp, who'll get to share branding with Microsoft. Sharp produced the Sidekick hardware for Danger, who was bought by Microsoft almost two years ago. Pink will be primarily aimed at the same market as the Sidekick, and the branding and identity for it is highly developed, pointing toward a later stage in the development cycle. [Source]
Guest ScreamingFalcon Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 By the color scheme, it looks like they're targeting the gamer crowd that are into the XBox and other gaming related articles. But, that's just speculation.

Guest ScreamingFalcon Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 (edited) looks like they are copying the palm pre... You do realize you are looking at 2 different form factors in the picture, right? I'm guessing that the one you think looks like the pre (the one on the left) is actually going to be a silder smartphone and not a touchscreen device like the convoluted pre. Guest NuShrike Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 (edited) No dpad. Either early renders, or definitely NOT for the gaming crowd. Edited September 25, 2009 by NuShrike
Guest ScreamingFalcon Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 The Dpad on the smaller slider may be the raised bump on the top part, making it more of a 5way stick.
