Guest Mir_X Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Is there any program that is able to select samsung keyboard or letter recognizer by the rules before we made ?
Guest necosino Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 DefaultIM allows for a single default. There is no app for a program-specific keyboard though.
Guest Piemole Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 OmniaSIP will let you choose the Samsung KB. It also lets you choose a different one for landscape. It only lets you choose b/n the 3 default SIP's though.

Guest Witu Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 In an attempt to reach out to the masses comes a wide range of default Soft Input Panels (SIPs) in the Windows Mobile devices. While applauding for their courtesy, the choices might be redundant for users who have only limited needs. Our goal is that of a minimalist view, maximum productivity with minimum memory use. Here we will help you achieve that with your SIPs. Objective Disable the unused SIPs through registry editors for peace of mind. Applicable Device Samsung Omnia What you need Registry Editor Registry Address HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ Value Name For each of 8 SIPs, there are 8 different value names, please take note of each one’s path: 1.Block Recognizer .. \{42429691-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSipInputMethod 2.Letter Recognizer .. \{42429690-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSipInputMethod 3.Touch Keyboard .. \{62B00599-25D2-4e09-8C48-03BF26DB8517}\IsSipInputMethod 4.Transcriber .. \{F0034DD0-2AD4-11d1-9CB0-E84BE8000000 }\IsSipInputMethod 5.Compact QWERTY .. \{62B00599-25D2-4e09-8C48-03BF26DB8517}\IsSipInputMethod 6.Full QWERTY .. \{36BC8FF6-8241-4c36-ABDE-204885471FEE}\IsSipInputMethod 7.Keyboard .. \{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSipInputMethod 8.Phonepad .. \{198D503A-EFFE-4afd-BC54-EED333C80E6D}\IsSipInputMethod Value Data The default value for each is “1” which enables the SIPs. While the disable value is “0”. Yes, the value name are not very retention-friendly or directive in making changes, but once you got it down you should have no problem. :)
