Customization support?

Is there a way - or will there be a way - to customize the HTC Hero more to your belongings?

I would like to see the ability of:

- changing the colour of the menus,

- categorize my apps in the "all apps" window

maybe further ideas for customizing?

I mean, i really like the Sense UI (TouchFLO) by HTC, so why do i need to run other Themes in the market, where i have to pay money for?

When i google "HTC Hero Themes", around half of pages, google tells me, they are describing how to add the Hero theme to iPhone.. :/
