Guest Sinicter Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 (edited) So my Omnia died after dropping it into a cup of coffee, now they tell me I "might" be able to choose from 2 other phones because the omnia isnt in their stock anymore.. The choices they "might" give me are Samsung Ultra touch or the HTC Magic (android). I´m leaning so much towards the Htc Magic... What would you guys choose? I was quite displeased with my Omnia, and I dont want to get another phone that I dont really like? So have anyone tried any of the above phones? Thanks in advance.. /M Edited September 26, 2009 by Sinicter
Guest bond_guy_2002 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Goodness, you do have a big coffee cup... http://www.ngchongyang.com
Guest StarVision Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 HTC one...Android is a smart phone , but touch ultra isn't~ by the way , nokia got phones drop into beer and cereal , and it still works~
Guest jason07 Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Definitely do NOT get the ultra touch. It's got an ultra frustrating setup with an unresponsive touchscreen and zero customisability... if that's a word. Magic is a much better choice.

Guest Zealster Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 I touched the HTC Magic. It's not very touch responsive.. Well, about as responsive as my Omnia with a new digitizer. Maybe a little bit more. I was kind of unimpressed though since I figured these phones wanted to at least rival Apple's touch sensitivity. It seemed really hard to do anything on the phone, but I'm sure it was just me. Of course, I hated my Omnia until I flashed to 6.5 and installed blueocean's PointSense!
Guest Sea-Breeze Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 if u r into dropping ! Get a nokia mmm.. N86 is good.
Guest Zealster Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Yes! We left this Nokia out in our backyard for 2 months during winter.. It STILL works to this day. If you get one, you'll never have an excuse to ever get a new phone again. Because it will ALWAYS work. Perfectly.
