M2D Full fix for Opera and

[Guest epdm]

Hi,

Does anyone use the M2D_Full from Khuanchai page: Omnia ROM base DXIF1 build 23053 with BT-audio fix?

That page contains a link called "14. M2D for Omnia full version to make a 3-in-1 ROM" to an easy to install M2D-implementation. I use it on my modified DXIA5 ROM.

This works very well appart from the fact that M2D uses a lot of storage space (about 20MB of device memory).

There are however a few problems.

1) Google maps doesn't work

2) Youtube player doesn't work (without further intervention)

3) Webbrowser doesn't work as standard and points to www.htc.com which is kinda stupid because we have a Samsung :-)

I've modified the registry so that

1) Youtube player goes to Streaming Player instead

2) Webbrowsers uses the inbuild Opera 9.5 and...

3) ...points to www.google.com instead.

Select the text below and save as cereg-file (for use with CeRegeditor) or manually add/change the registry-keys.

I hope this is helpfull. I've disabled the Maps- and settingsTab. I'll try if I can get the maps-tab to use the inbuild Googlemaps but don't get your hopes up (unless other ppl already have this fixed). This ought to work on other (official) DXIA5-roms. Enjoy M2D.

What does this cab do? I presume this a another version of M2D.

I noticed that it's a bit larger than the version on Khuanchai's page.

After investigation it seems that it's the excact same version 1.0.1818.3719 as the one that I mention from Khuanchai's page.

BTW. To try to get Google Maps working I downloaded the last version from Google Maps page. I noticed that the new Google Maps doesn't play nice with the Samsung keyboard?!?!? Weird.

Needles to say I reverted back to the old buildin version.
