Guest carfanatic06 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I had a small screen discoloration on my omnia and my buddy at verizion said he would get me a new phone. So I got my new phone and I pretty much hate it. The ROM is differnet and the newer version( S:i910.10 V.CF03.20961 ) is slow and laggy and has issue texting and with IE, I would like to switch back to the old version ( S:i910.10 V.BJ28.2027 ). I still have both phone, is there any way to copy all of the parameters versions and settings from the old phone and install them on the new phone. Thanks for helping a newbie out.......
Guest necosino Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Nope. Try a custom ROM, they are a lot faster and don't have all the Verizon/Samsung junk that slows the phone down.

The first phone IE had a functionc called fit to screen that the second phone does not that drives my crazy the scrolling kills me. Anyone know of a rom with that function??
Guest jason07 Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 thats not a ROM issue... thats just a specific version of IE. Have a quick look around google and you'll find newer/older versions. OR, jump over to Opera 9.5 or 9.7 which has auto fit to screen. As was already said, your best bet is to switch to a custom ROM. They are much faster, and if you go for a LITE ROM you'll get very few programs, and can just install the ones u want.
