Problem of Samsung Original Dialer on WM 6.5

Hi,

I still prefer Samsung Original Dialer for I900 over WM dialer.

Recently upgraded to WM6.5 custom Rom and I have problem that everyone else having it.

Just wanted to highlight here, and see if any master could solve it.

First picture showing samsung dialer with all the default options including video call which I prefer to be there.

However look carefully there is additional vertical scroll bar, which not mean to be there.

Hopefully someone could really adjust the screen size to suit WM6.5

Because of the whole dialer now can scroll up and down, when you use the finger to drag up and down, you will see the problem as shown in picture below.

Using the scroll bar is ok.

I also use the Samsung dialer because I use videocall a lot, so no options for me. I was wondering the same thing, and found today at htcspain that somebody cooked a ROM Xip 23053 / SYS 23414 that doesn't have that problem... I asked the chef how he did it, but no answer so far (I asked today).

It would be great if the chef willing to teach.

I was think to use e-Native showcase to solve it...somehow I duno what is the what is right class or name to use in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT-USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase\SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses

I try put cprog.exe, but I dun see any different.

use favorite hacking and reduce scrollbar size value from 12 to 0 ;)

with this metod scrollbar desappear in every screen...

doesnot work..tried b4. It still does not solve the scrolling problem which shown on 1st post.

i saw somewhere on the forum modified original dialers for removing autolock function, try one of those

i was using for a while but now i use dialer from omnia lite

I've solved this problem.

When cooked rom,

"cprog.exe" folder insert to SYS/PhoneRedist folder.

I attached cprog.exe.

I also have the same problem!! am using wm6.5 build 23518 and the attached dialer fix...with the module folder for cprog.exe doesn't work....already tried!....does anyone has a working solution to this problem? Or can someone please provide a working full Samsung i900 Dialer cab???

any help would be appreciate!

I cook some roms too, and I'm interested in finding a solution to this as well.

If I've not mistaken, the b7300 dialer doesn't have the scrollbar, but there will be a black bar on the incoming call pop-up. Still trying to find how to change the background to white to fix this. (It's now black text on an almost black background)
