How to get rid of custom rom and reinstall official rom?

I installed a custom rom for the first time but I would like to get back to the official rom if I can but I dont know how because the version number I type in on the samsung website isnt recognised. I need to do this to try and get back some data that sprite backed up but it wont let me restore for some reason at the moment, thanks.

Get the original samsung firmware from the samsung website, use the procedure described in this topic
