No Joy with GPS and Google Maps

Did upgrade to CF03 and downloaded Google maps. I get a map with blinking White to Blue ball thats about a mile from my position. I click on menu and Use GPS, little blue bar comes up and says seeking satellites but never finds any. I have phone outside in wide open space where all my other GPS's work just fine???? What have I done wrong????? Have waited over 15 mins. and blue bar disappears. During this time the # of satellites stays at "0"
