I have blank operator setting as well for long time but everything works fine. My SIM is auto detected and i define internet and wap manually. Regarding SMS there is no problem to get SMS at all. It was working in 23071 rom for sure but now i tested it with the new 23075Full rom using regular microsoft media player and it doesnt work. Can you see if it works for you?
