Guest puck117 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Ok I was playing around with my phone to see about getting a 6.5 rom on it. Well one instruction I was told suggested dialing #228 to start off. Well I did that, got the whole cricket programming message, then programming successful. Now all of a sudden I have no MMS and no WAP when I did have it before. The phone I have is an Omnia i910 that was fully flashed to cricket. now the MMS and Wap doesnt work because of #228. Has anyone ever experienced this issue? I have tried everything I can find to resolve it. registry changes, custom cabs, built in roms, all of which don't work. Luckily I still have my voice and SMS. The MMS simply won't send messages, and the WAP continues to ask for me for password (i've done the cricket password and my account password for my billing account, none of which work). Please help!
Guest necosino Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 A cricket ROM for the i910? I've never heard of that floating around. Are you sure you didn't get it from the i900 section? Anyway, I would hard reset, and then re-flash and see if that doesn't get you anywhere. Are you able to make and receive calls?
Guest FutureDirt Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 (edited) sounds as simple as putting the correct access point in together with relevant usernames and passwords. check your access point settings under connections. Edited October 6, 2009 by FutureDirt
Guest jjohnzon Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) I have my Omnia on Cricket and i'm afraid to do a *228 update because i flashed it myself and it has been the hardest phone i have done so far. you will need to have your setting redone or google samsungpst and do it yourself. Your wap settings have reverted back to verizon Edited October 7, 2009 by jjohnzon
