Omnia turning off?

Anyone (particularly with the i910) encountering the issue where the phone randomly shuts off...It sometimes happens to me like 5 or 6 times a day...I noticed that sometimes it'll do it when I'm setting the omnia on my desk at work...not throwing it, but setting it down. I'm using the latest update from Verizon. Any help would be appreciated.

try a hard reset and see if the problem persists. If it does, you may have a loose battery (especially if it's a 3rd-party battery). If it doesn't, then it's software-related. Install apps in groups of 2 until you find the program causing the shut-downs like so:

All programs:

|------------group 1--------||------------group 2--------|

Install group 1. If problem is found, use group 1, if not, use group 2

|--Group 3--||--Group 4--|

Repeat

|--5--||--6--|

Repeat, etc etc etc
