Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Since installing Mobile Shell 3.5 (on top of Ryrzy's ROM - WM 6.5) the system sometimes randomly crashes while in the lock screen. Has anyone experienced the same problem and any suggestions how to resolve. It's really frustrating having to find something small enough to soft reset! Thanks. Edited October 8, 2009 by Unisoldrew
Guest necosino Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Definitely not a MS3.5 problem. Could be specific to that ROM or that build of WinMo.
Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Hmmm, it never happened before. Everything was very stable. The only other strange things over the last week is my battery started to discharge very quickly all of a sudden so quickly ordered a new one (which is in now). Before putting the new one in the original one started behaving itself. Strange?!?
Guest necosino Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I'd ask around in the i900 rom section to see if anyone using the same ROM and 3.5 have experienced it. Maybe it's being caused by another recently installed app?
Guest Zealster Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I've had this happen alot, but I've never used MS3.5, so that has nothing to do with it. Honestly, it happened with the original 6.1 ROM very often. Since flashing to 6.5, I've had no problems with it.
Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Maybe a reflash then but can't face reinstalling everything! :)
Guest ivanxxx Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) I'm using Wm6.5 23053 M2D with p_h_onex phonebook 2.0 and if I set Spam alert to lock screen and buttons on a call, it wont be possible to unlock the phone on a call because some part of winmo overrides the screen (keyboard box icon come front). Simply I dont use lock on call but it is trouble.. *what is spam alert.. reEdited Edited October 11, 2009 by ivanxxx
