Omnia Port Fixed! 1 Problem

Ok, Monday Phone Doctor Fixed my port Connector for $50. I have one problem now, it wont connect to the computer through usb. But the wall charger will work. I need to flash to a new rom! Any ideas?

Try going to settings - connections - USB connection -> Mass Storage mode, and then connect.

If the computer sees the new drive, great, your USB port is truly fixed. If it doesn't, you need to get a hold of this "Phone Dr."

If this worked, disconnect and change your USB connection back to Activesync.

Make sure you have Windows Mobile Device Center installed, and delete any existing partnerships.

Make sure you also have the phone drivers installed (either from the CD on XP, or with Windows Update on Vista/7)

Connect your phone and see if anything happens. If still nothing, open device center and see if you see an "Unknown Device", "SCH-i910" or "Windows Mobile-based Device" or anything like that. Let me know :)
