MUST HAVE CABS AND LINKS

I started this thread because Pauls must have free applications thread is a little outdated and doesn't include any programs that you have to pay for. I'm including any cabs that are free and explanation of each one. I'm also including links to great software. If there is anything that i'm not allowed to post here i'm hoping the moderator can just take them down or let me know because im not 100% sure everything I'm posting is allowed here.

psshutxp - great application to soft reset device. comes in very handy

amazegps - incredible free gps program with voice turn by turn directions. use it all the time and never had a problem. works great!

batti - great little program that shows your battery life on the top of the screen

cleanRAM - does what it says. saved me from many soft resets

htc MP3 trimmer - works great for making ringtones out of mp3's. only problem is that its made for qvga so there is a graphic glitch, but is completely functional. one of you geniuses out there should port this to wqvga

Skyfire - not the best app in the world but pretty cool. allows you to view flash websites and is very fast. SOMEBODY SHOULD HACK IT INTO PLAYING HULU AGAIN

HTC Task Manager - been using this since day 1. very lightweight and perfect task manager. Makes the x actually exit programs.

Torch Button - BY FAR THE MOST HANDY APP IN THE WORLD - makes your camera flash a flashlight. program it to one of the hard buttons and you will use it all the time...guarenteed!

UCWEB6 - an interested browser that is extremely fast. its not the best but definitely worth checking out.

Pandora - awesome app but the only problem is you can't add stations from the program because you can't pull up the keyboard. you can always add them from your computer, but other than that it works great. I use it on my car stereo on a daily basis.

Facebook - the app kinda sucks but it is functional - everybody loves facebook

Resco Explorer - A must have awesome incredible sweet file explorer!

Because people posted a lot of spam topics about how it's a great app and copy/pasted all the info from their page just so they could get a free copy.

Forums were getting spamed so often that they decided to blacklist the app. It's a good app but the free version offer is a really bad way to advertise because they created a lot of spamers.

im gonna try to update as much as possible and test any of the apps people post links too and test them and if they seem functional I'll update links or cabs to the first post. does anybody know what cabs I can post and what I can't. Am I allowed to post cabs of demo software i.e spb mobile shell, resco explorer....??? I think this thread will be great for beginners and everybody cuz ill update when I find new stuff or really when anybody finds new stuff.

It's better to link to their site so that people can get the most up-to-date versions and read about it before getting used to it and THEN finding out it's a trial (people won't read here that it's a trial)
