Guest philly-d Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Loving Marketplace, but want to choose where to install the CABs? Well now you can thanks to our friends at XDA Developers. This tweaked version now makes Marketplace ask where to install the application. Get the updated Marketplace CAB here. But there's also an issue where it doesn't work at all for some people (including me)...well that's been fixed too. From Paul Smith's BlogOne of the checks the Marketplace application seems to make us having a look at your version information. A lot of custom ROMs put their own string in, which seems to be upsetting it. To check, open up your favourite registry editor and make your way to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Versions and change Aku to .5.3.00 And then soft reset and give it a go. It worked for me, and the good news is it works on 6.0 and 6.1 too! [Via FuzeMobility and WMPowerUser]
