Unlock Motorola RockrE!

I am going to UK next month and have an Orange Motorola RokrE1 that I am carrying with me. I am aware that I will need to buy a SIM card to put into the phone and was informed that I need to unlock the phone first.

It depends on what frequency your network uses normally each network will have a roaming partner so you can use a local network to make calls on your account. As you are on Orange then as far as I am aware you should be ok to use Orange in the UK.

But not all devices are network locked.

If you are only on a short trip then it may be cheaper to pick up a budget phone and pay as you go sim.

You can buy this cheaper than some of the SIM unlocking sites that people attempt to spam here.
