MMS Sending Problems with 2.5.1

Yesterday i updated my HTC Hero (which was already patched to MoDaCo 2.3) to 2.5.1 including radio updates. Now i see, there is a problem when typing MMS.

I can add (multiple) receipient(s) when going from album->send as message.

But the problem is, i can NOT add any text. It does not let me type any text since the text field doesnt respond when clicking onto it.

Does anyone else have this problem also or am i the only one?

I'm using the US version Mytouch 3g and i can't seem to install none of modaco rom. Looks like mine is the 32b. I have try most of it but didn't sucess, so i end up using Evil hero 2.9.5x with the latest patch BFS 302 now. Anyone tell me what i should be starting before get to the latest stable hero rom from modaco.
