People (contacts) section scroll performance?

So as poll stated, how is scrolling in people on your hero ?

Currently i have only like 16 contacts there, about 80% are synced to google and most of them are also linked with facebook..

But i must say, MAAAAAAAAAAN scrolling in this few contacts is jerky as hell ! how would it performance with 50 or 100 contacts ?

I used to have this problem, a new ROM solved it.

I have just under 200 contacts, all synced with Google and FB.

I usually wait 10 or 15 seconds or so, before scrolling, to let the application load. If I don't do this, it can be jerky at first.

However, after that initial load, my is very smooth. No problems at all.

I recommend you wait a few seconds to let yours load, see how it goes after that.

Hmm thats interesting, but i cant really believe that its because i have only few contacts

but maybe there is another side to this, if you notice people are divided to this little "columns" alphabetically, could this lag/jerky animation be related to "auto-jumping" columns... well i really dont know what i am talking about, by my opinion this is just not smooth at all

for example could you compare how it runs compared to "albums" tab in music player ? currently i have about 60 albums on my sd card, and scrolling between them is really a totally different experience then scrolling in contacts

I have about 200 contacts (mostly in Exchange, but some in Google) and my People scrolling is actually waaaay too fast for my preference

I have about 100 albums, and the Album scrolling is very quick too.

Strangely I was playing with this earlier this evening and I commented to myself that, if anything, the People scrolling is too fast. It's certainly smooth.

Its interesting that scrolling in people its in my opinion really jerky/not smooth, but when i press phone and hide the dial pad scrolling in this contacts are mostly smooth :-/
