help me please! i can't connect my GSM operator!

hi everyone. i just bought a htc hero from Czech Republic. i'm in Turkey. and my operator is AVEA. my hero can't connect to my operator. it says: "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network." how can i fix it? please help me about it...

edit: i solve this problem. in Turkey, the phones which are came from other country, must be saved to a database. if they aren't saved, they won't be connected to operator. i thougt it is saved to db but i learnt it isn't :( i saved it to db and it works. :)
