With redundancys still going on I don't think so at the moment

There are signs that the economy is getting better. Will see how it will go next months.

With tens of thousands of people losing their jobs each month I think it'll be a while yet!

All of those people now have less money to spend, so they're not likely to be buying a lot. I've been made redundant twice in 2 years, so I know it takes ages to get household finances back in order.

Maybe they should recruit out of work bankers to do the checking on MPs expenses? That'd be a job for life!
