Problem with favourite contacts

Hi,

I'm having a problem that I've only noticed since the new people widget arrived. I have removed a contact from my favourites, but they keep reappearing on the people widget. I checked my Google Contacts and removed them from the "Starred in Android" group. No matter how many times I remove them from favourites, they constantly reappear. I've tried clearing the People app cache, but can't fix it.

Any ideas anyone?

Some one else with people widget problem I thought it was just mine can't help but I have a problem with the photos I change them but an hour or so later the old one reappears weird isn't it, defiantly a bug there I wiped and flashed 2.5.1 only started in the new rom.

I used to have issues with photos disappearing, but that hasn't happened for a while. This one is really bugging me though!

Just for info, this is still an issue after upgrading to MCR 2.6 Enhanced. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have an idea how I can solve it?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to bump this one last time in case anyone has an answer to this as it's really bugging me now! :)

I'm now running MCR 2.9 Enhanced, although I don't think that makes much difference to this issue - it's been around since MCR 2.5.1.

I had the problem with my contacts not aligning properly with their contact photos in the widgets or the incall but were properly aligned in the "People" list. All i did was just do a complete wipe and reinstall 2.9. Go on market and get "Backup for Root", it's free, it will back up everything on your phone (not incl. the ROM bug ofcourse).
