Can't download apps from market over wifi

Hi,

I'm running the latest modaco firmware but this happened just the same in 2.2 - if I'm connected to wifi and I download a market app on the phone, it sits there at 'download starting' for as long as I've left it now - half an hour maybe? If I disconnect the wifi and drop to 3G signal the app will quickly download fine.

Wifi works fine for browsing the internet, updating Peep etc etc, it's just app downloads as far as I can tell. Any ideas why that should be?
