Guest Grouper Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I really really really need this file. Here's what I've done. I was messing with Wozzer's kitchen, and I put together a ROM, anxious to try it out I was trying to flash it. So stupidly I used the i900 flasher that it comes with, it failed but the phone was fine. So I figured I needed to flash using UMDL; I loaded all of the files in UMDL, including the eboot. So I've flashed an i900 1.37 eboot on to an i910. UMDL will no longer flash anything to it. Grand Prix WILL flash it, but I don't have an i910 eboot. No matter where I search, I can't find one. I've tried extracting the cf03.img and the exe updater with every utility I can think of, including some i900tool, osbntool, etc. I'm not even sure if I'm using them correctly. ANYWAY. Someone please get me eboot.nb0 for an i910! or let me know how to extract it from the img.
Guest Grouper Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) It's too late. Now it's officially a brick. Get it while it's hot! SAFE UMDL Utility! CAUTION! I am still not responsible if you brick your phone like my dumb ass did. I didn't test this because my phone is bricked. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Guest necosino Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Sorry I couldn't be more help last night Grouper :) Will your phone turn on at all? If it can get to the samsung loading screen, you might be able to take it to Verizon and have them see if they can flash it.
Guest zwfln Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) I need i910 eboot too,Someone help Edited October 15, 2009 by zwfln
Guest xzyk Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I need i910 eboot too,Someone help Hi, i know what it feels like when you get boot failure cause i did it on mine 2 hours after i bought it, anyway that's another story. There is Executor at http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general.../i900-executor/ but i think that only works on the i900 but you may want to email the author of the excellent prog and see whether he can help. It can certainly extract the eboot on i900.
Guest necosino Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Thanks for that. The problem we're facing is this: Grouper flashed and somehow loaded an i900's EBOOT. So now UMDL (the i910 tool) will no longer let him flash to a i910 EBOOT. The only thing I can think of is to somehow extract the i910 EBOOT and then get the i900 tool to flash the i910 EBOOT.. /headache Worth giving it a shot though!
Guest natedawg1013 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 So you can't use grandprix to flash to the CC20 .img?
Guest necosino Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Pretty sure it gave us an error when we tried GP with CC20 and CF03.. Can always try again though.
Guest BottleNeck Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 Has same trouble. Got i900executor, unpacked i900 img (version don't remember), checked eboot.nb0 header. Find same header in cf03.img and save binry block with it (1,4Mb). To repair, flash attached eboot (from cf03 v1.71) with Grandprix (flasher from i900, because your device is i900 now ;) ) Device will reboot and i910 now :)boot171_CF03.zip

I made the mistake of flashing my omnia 910 to a 900 rom. I tried the above zip file with grandprix and it comes back with a checksum failed. Are there any i910 roms that are broke out into the loader, pda and csc files? This has been the only way a flash has even taken to my phone. Using the .bin files, the phone seems to be changing to a usb com port mode, and windows doesn't like the drivers.
