SPB MS 3.5 Battery Issue

I tried out SPB MS 3.5 for a week, liked the widgets, customizations offered etc., BUT its too power hungry, battery runs out of juice very quickly, also noticed that the response was bit sluggish, obviously I guess the new features and components are not efficient enough.

I have reverted back to 3.0.1 and will not upgrade until there is a fix to this issue, whats the use of jazzy UI if you are phone is getting drained at this rate.

Are there any fixes availlable for this?
