Wipe Hero totally clean

Hi all

I'm using the Modaco 2.6 ROM on my Hero and I'm starting to feel it dragging and slowing down a bit. Not blaming the ROM, just blaming the build-up of junk over time! My question is how can I totally wipe my Hero clean, everything off the phone, every app off the apps2sd, everything, so I'm left with just a virgin 2.6 installation and a freshly partioned SD card.

if you have the recovery image installed:

format your sdcard, then do a wipe. this should leave you with a blank but correctly formatted sdcard and a fresh and clean rom.

so basically what you said in your post, partition your sdcard and do a whipe...

Sweet, I thought it would be that but i have a fantastic habit of 'dicking things up' so thought I'd ask first :)
