Guest Paul Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Strangely, when I put my O2 SIM in the Pulse, it comes up with a huge long operator name like 'Telefonica O2 blah blah'. Rubbish! ;-) Thankfully, I discovered that I could hexedit /system/lib/libril-qc-1.so, so now it displays 'O2 - UK'. Much better! And theoretically it could display anything I liked! If anyone else has the same need, let me know... P

Guest joners Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 (edited) Ah, can you adise how to do that, via PM if prefered. Kev Hi, they are working on a sim unlock at the moment, ive been looking in to it myself! Seems that Paul kindly sent his Pulse over the imei-unlock guys and they were looking at it, I emailed them yesterday, and they confirmed today that they are working on it but dont have a timescale yet as to when it will be released. If you on Tmobile it seems that if you have been with them for one month then they will sell you an unlock code, but it can take up to 28days to receive the letter. This may be for contracts only though. (please correct me if im wrong!) thanks, Jon Seems that you might also want to have a look here............ http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...service-centre/ Edited October 28, 2009 by joners
