Guest 6738mike Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I am having issues when I get to the point of inputting my server source. owa.xxxxxxxx.com/exchange When I hit the next button the /exchange disappears. Thus, this will not allow me to sync with my server. I have noticed this on almost all ROMs this past month. I am assuming that there is a place in the setup that dictates how many characters along with what type of characters are allowed. Or, has Microsoft screwed something up in the latest builds. Or, am I the only one who notices.
Guest necosino Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 What build are you on? This may indeed be build-specific..
Guest 6738mike Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 :( Actually, thinking back I don't think I have been able to do this since 23050's came out, or since everyone started to us WoZZer's program to construct their ROM's.... :) ANyone Else see this? I am currently running 23064. but, I know it would not work for 23053,54.
Guest xenspidey Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 try replacing actsyncc.dll, syncsp.dll, syncmgr.dll, syncres.dll and syncutil.dll from an earlier build. i can't get active sync to work OTA at all on these newer builds without replacing these files. NOTE: you might not need to replace all of them but i haven't taken the time to see which file is the culprit. Yes i know BW this is a workaround and not a fix... but until i find a fix i can at least keep my contacts and email :)
