Very weird problem

Hi, i have this weird problem with my htc hero. I can't find any awnsers or people with the same problem, so i thought i asked it here.

This is the case:

Since the new (official) rom update i have this problem with the profile pic I set for myself (the one you see in a message thread, next to the messages you send).

When ever i get a message from somebody and i open that message with the notification bar, my profile pic doesn't show in th thread (just the standard silhouette). But if i open a message via the message app, then it DOES show my image.

I have no idea how this happenes. It doesnt have to do with any apps, because i even have it after a clean rom install. ( whit the first rom it all worked, but with both the official updated one and the modaco it doesn't)

Please help me, it drives me nuts
