Guest gillbee Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I've just received a replacement Omnia i900 but I can't work out what version I have. The PDA is i900XXHHC and the PHONE is i900XXHH9. My original omnia from vodafone had a version after the PDA code which is where the samsung site says it should be. This one doesn't have anything after the code. I don't want to go loading my apps back on if the version is way out of date, but I can't check on the Samsung site without a version number. Is there a default version for unlocked handsets (it wasn't replaced by vodafone, and this one has no branding on it so I presume it's unlocked) Anyone seen this before? Any help appreciated - can't find any topics on similar issues.
Guest gillbee Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Still no joy with version numbers. Does anyone know a version number for an unbranded UK omnia that I can use to pull down the latest firmware from Samsung? With any luck the installer doesn't check against the version number you enter so hopefully that'll get me back up and running. Thanks,
