Omnia i900 on O2

......whenever I phone someone in my phonebook. Consequently, because people I phone don't know its me who's calling, they don't always answer the phone. I've tried fixing this through settings etc. but to no avail. This isn't the first time I've had this problem. I had it once before but it seemed to have corrected itself.

I don't remember me personally fixing it.

If anyone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I've just got off the phone to 02 regarding this problem. The guy I spoke to was quite helpful although he couldn't find any info on his system to help me solve this problem concerning the Omnia. 02 never did support the Omnia, so I wasn't that suprised!

However, he did say that my problem seemed to be a Network ID problem and that I needed to make sure that ''show my number'' was clicked within the phone. He couldn't tell me where exactly I needed to go in the phone other than settings>phone>network. I've been into the network tab on numerous occasions and nowhere am I given the option to click ''show my number''.

I'm really getting stressed out over this, people are not always answering my calls, and when they do they don't know who it is, so if anyone can guide me on which settings on the phone I need to go into I would be very grateful.

Try this thing (this is how it is in WM6.5, it may be different on WM6.1):

- Go to "Settings->Phone->Services"

- Normally you have "Caller ID", click on "Get Settings"

- You'll have "Provide my caller ID to" and check that "Everyone" is set
