Guest Thierry B Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Hello, I create manually my partitions (fat32, ext3 and swap) with a linux distribution on my sdcard. Modaco moves my apps to the ext3 partition, but apparently, it doesn't use the swap partition. # free free total used free shared buffers Mem: 197016 190492 6524 0 96 Swap: 0 0 0 Total: 197016 190492 6524 Is it the same thing for you or not? Maybe I didn't create correcly my partitions. Thanks :-) PS: I'm using Modaco 5.1
Guest Thierry B Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Install Swapper from the market. P Thanks :-)
Guest kosmiq Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Was just thinking about this myself. Just so I got this right, install Swapper, go to settings, advanced preferences, set to use swap partition, choose partition and then it's good to go? Any need to change Swappiness size from recommended 10 to like 30 or so? I have 32mb swap set up. Thanks in advance :)
