Guest necosino Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 (edited) So, I started playing with Wozzer's kitchen and was impressed and decided to throw my hat in the ring, too! This is my view of how this phone should be.. Very little WinMo interaction, and all "new" finger-friendly applications. 23091.1 (12/6/09) Updated to 23091 and fixed a couple things. Took out Resco Photo Viewer and put in HTC Album. (I need to fix the file associations to make it the default) To Do: NecoSino's Start Menu package (in process) Get JInbox working 100% (From Omnia Lite) Download By flashing you agree not to hold NecoSino, Modaco, or its holders liable for any harm caused to you, your device, your life, or your slowly growing flashing addiction that will inevitably consume your life to the point of nothingness. Guest necosino Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) Holy sh** Neco... I might have to try this one..... Wait a bit, vA2 will be out soon :( Not quite soon.. Trying to get the theme I like installed and defaulted, as well as sort out the registry to get resco photoviewer to be associated already.. :) Maybe in the next couple days, lol.. But definitely try out vA1! Edited October 18, 2009 by necosino

Guest dmcnado Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Alpha 2 is up! Feedback/issues/requests please :) Am running Alpha 2... Like it A LOT! Does this rom still have the stock dialer lock? Also, would it be possible for you to cook this w/out the XDA_UC? I'm a sashimi user and I'm not a fan of the XDA_UC.

Guest necosino Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) Yeah sashimi is definitely better than XDA_UC in my opinion Yeah, no problem. I'll upload another version tonight. Also, the stock lock doesn't work with the omnia lite dialer, but auto call locker works very well. It was very intrusive to cook in so I kept it out, but the cab is easy to find. :) Edited October 19, 2009 by necosino

Also, which keyboard is that in your rom? Thanks in advance!

Also, which keyboard is that in your rom? Thanks in advance! I tried Chobit's, but it wasn't working for me. I had to use JohnKarJes AutoCallLocker. That worked, but had some issues when cooking it in. I'll try to get it straightened out so it's in the next build, too. :) Right now it's just the stock keyboard, but I'll probably replace it with the OmniaLite dialer if it's smaller (I use CooTek TouchPal) unless you would all like something else. :(

I even started cooking my own!
Guest necosino Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Alpha v2.1 is up. XDA is out, and sounds are redone with a Windows 7-like feel that, I think, you will all find to be a welcome adition and a much needed change! (the sound scheme isn't done yet, but a good start)

Guest blindingword Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 After flashing your rom, My Omnia Broke :) It's stuck on the boot screen. I have done all the usual to resolve but no avail. I'm not blaming you lol because I know I chose to use it. Just looking for a fix. I see some post something about a program called grandprix, but only roms I've seen are for the 900. Anybody have a suggestion?

Thanks for the awesome rom & the funny sounds!

Thanks for the awesome rom & the funny sounds! Woops! lol.. I had it doing that on the portrait at one point. Will be fixed in the next version. The sounds aren't supposed to be "funny" either :) I am going for an updated windows mobile (7-ish?) sound scheme..
Guest dmcnado Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Ha ha... didn't mean funny in a bad way, just funny relative to the family guy stuff, LOL... Sure got everyone's attention at work when I booted up and subsequently shut down! :)

I've got just about all the system sounds replaced now ;)
Guest dmcnado Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Sound scheme is good... different, but a nice change. I like them. Must have taken quite a while to replace all the sounds!
