Guest sorg Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) Dear users, I currently dumped the ROM from the phone to a .raw If anyone is interested in this file please contact me @ [email protected] Trying if I can create my own rom :D --Edit-- lol.. I think I just got the raw file to unpack and now got something like the root of the device.. would be good if you'll upload dumped ROM to somewhere. may be rapidshare.com? Also, i think, Omnia Pro has the same structure as Omnia II. So, if you will able to copy cubic37.mli file from hidden partition on "My Storage" then probably i will able to convert it into flashable version. how to get cubic37.mli: 1) disconnect Omnia Pro from PC 2) go to USB settings and switch to Mass Storage mode with "My Storage" 3) connect to PC. PC will find new disk. This disk should have 2 partition. One is normal and visible for user and another is hidden. I think, easier way to get into hidden partition is to use linux. It can mount this partition and all files will be accessible. On Windows, you need to use some disk analyzing/repair tools like WinHex. If you are familiar with WinHex, then you can easily access hidden partition. So, upload cubic37.mli (may be Omnia Pro has another file *.mli - then take this file) to somewhere (rapidshare.com is preferrable) and i will try to make this ROM flashable through usual flashing program (OCTANS?) Guest JeroenFransen Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Dumped here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D030VUXQ Great to see all this activity starting! Looking forward to the inevitable cooked roms.
Guest sorg Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 here we go. I've converted louvre.mli into nb0 format. This is one of accepted format of Omnia II flasher (OCTANS Downloader). I didn't see any flashing tools for Omnia Pro, neither i know if OCTANS downloader can be used to flash Omnia Pro. anyway, here is links to nb0 version of ROM uploaded by ErnstJanF: http://rapidshare.com/files/298639470/B7610XXIH1.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/298639475/B7610XXIH1.part2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/298655921/B7610XXIH1.part3.rar P.S.: this is not cooked ROM. it's stock ROM, not modified.

Thank's sorg, I will try to cook them =) ---- You guys have to wait a looong time as it takes a loooong time to get a hold on the files above, tried 5 times today but can't download any file. If anyone is kind enough to share his RS account for some minutes, please PM me! :D Edited October 27, 2009 by ErnstJanF
Guest asfaijk Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 If you cooked a usable rom, i will host it on my premium account. Regards Nbyz12
Guest sorg Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 hmm.. may be i've wrote not so clear, but NB0 generally is the same as MLI. U won't find anything new in NB0 if you already have MLI. Just different header. NB0 is useful if you want to re-flash it into your Omnia Pro. But since there is no public flashing application, NB0 is useless for now. You may try to use OCTANS Downloader because ROM format of Omnia II and Pro is the same, except word in header OCTANS for Omnia II, LOUVRE for Omnia Pro. OCTANS may or may not accept such header. So, you will try at your own risk.
Guest Samiej6 Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Sow how can i use this MLI for flashing. The links of the NB0 version are only for premium rapidshare members, which i am not. Could anyone upload that version on megaupload?
Guest XtremeNL Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Why do people insist on using rapidshit? :D Anyone has a mirror of the shipped rom files?
Guest RethXoth Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 How do you convert .MLI to .eb0?
